These pretty one-of-kind earrings feature ethically sourced orange sapphires that are cast directly into sterling silver using the ancient technique of cuttlefish casting. The textures of the cuttlefish bone are what give the earrings their distinctive patterning, which is carefully selected through the carving process, and the casting method imparts a captivating luster to the silver that is exclusive to the process.

 Materials & Measurements:

·       Recycled sterling silver earrings (approximate dimensions: 35mm x 14mm)

·       Faceted sapphires (3mm)

·       Sterling silver wire

If you would like these earrings with different color sapphires, they can be made to order in a variety of colors (blue/pink/red/orange/green). Please note that each pair will be unique, as the casting process results in some stone movement.
