This beautiful one-of-a-kind pendant was cast in sterling silver using a highly textured, hard-to-find, cuttlefish bone, which imparts a captivating luster to the silver that is exclusive to the process. The pendant was accented with 24 karat gold using the ancient Korean technique of Keum boo, which uses heat and burnishing to permanently adhere the gold to the surface, and is suspended on a contrasting oxidized sterling chain.
